Each experience can expand, transform, and adapt to the community in which it will live. Every curriculum can be shaped around your chosen age group, number of participants, skill and experience levels, access needs, setting, and timeframe—from a single introductory workshop to an evolving series or full-length course. The courses featured here are a selected handful from a wider menu.​

Neural Networks & Neurons

Conversations Between Thinking Minds & Thinking Machines

What does it mean to learn? Students investigate this question by placing biological and artificial neural networks in dialogue. They explore how neurons communicate, how experience strengthens and reshapes connections in the brain, and how memory, emotion, attention, and embodiment influence human learning. Alongside this biology, students examine how artificial neural networks adjust mathematical weights, recognize patterns, make predictions, and learn from data. The course ultimately asks not only how humans and machines learn, but what understanding, intelligence, and learning mean.

Chakras in Dialogue with Biological Systems

Exploring Traditional Energy Maps Alongside Anatomy and Physiology

This class explores each biological system through scientific and traditional perspectives, pairing anatomy and physiology with chakra energy maps. Students investigate how organs, nerves, hormones, and bodily processes sustain life alongside how chakra traditions describe energy, emotion, awareness, and embodied experience. Held side by side, these understandings illuminate one another and invite a more expansive relationship with our living bodies and selves.

Painting the Invisible

Visualizing Space, Time, and Higher Dimensions

Abstract ideas of mathematics and physics are given space to arrive in tangibility through imaginative visual art. Students explore concepts such as higher dimensions, relativity of time, different orders of infinity, and the curvature of space-time. By visualizing the unseen, they form a unique and personal relationship to underlying guiding forces of our reality. Colors, shapes, and emotion become tools for understanding the universe.

CreatureBot Creators

Design, Build, & Code Your Own Robotic Creature!

In this fun robotics studio, students imagine, design, build, and program an original CreatureBot with its own movement and personality. Students combine robotics, sculpture, textiles, and mixed-media art to invent expressive creations powered by motors, sensors, lights, and code. Along the way, they investigate engineering design, electronics, programming, mechanics, and creative problem-solving. Elementary and middle school students build confidence through LEGO Robotics, while high school students dive deeper into Arduino microcontrollers, custom circuitry, sensors, and open-ended engineering design to create fully original robotic creations.

Musical Math

Counting, Patterns, and Arithmetic Through Music and Movement

Children learn mathematical ideas through music, instruments, rhythm, and full-body play. Counting becomes movement, patterns become songs, and beginner concepts such as addition, fractions, shapes, and multiplication take root through joyful repetition and embodied exploration.

Strength and Movement Expression Through Yoga, Bharatanatyam, and Weightlifting

A practice in strength and movement expression blending yoga, Bharatanatyam, and weightlifting. Deep postures meet grounded resistance training, then expand through expressive movement, abhinaya, and storytelling. Mudras hold their own energetic significance while shaping the meaning and emotional quality of each gesture. Woven into yoga poses and strengthening sequences, they bring bhava—felt state and emotion—into the form, supporting both physical alignment and expressive intention. Each class cultivates strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and a body powerful enough to hold weight, fluid enough to transform, and present enough to speak.

Hi! I am Anupama Bhattacharya.

Over the last fifteen years I have taught a constellation of subjects - swimming, algorithms, poetry, dance, robotics, meditation, poetry, cooking, painting, crafting, biomedicine, coding, and science from little babies to seniors across cultures and neurodiversity. These pillars are born out of what I have learned through teaching. I believe it is my calling to perpetually seek new realms and transform what I discover into educational experiences.

I founded Just Coalesce as a means to integrate my fragmented way of being. From my degree in Biomedical Engineering & Computer Science, machine learning research, and neuroimaging experience to my love for expression, philosophy, music, community, and craft, I have always moved between worlds leaving behind a trail of colorful yet separate facets of the self. I am picking those pieces up and placing them in a kaleidoscope, an ever shifting lens that is grounded in form yet free to be dynamic. I'd love for you to join me and celebrate your wonderfully unique multifaceted lens too. <3​
